Not sure if I am just overlooking something or what here, but when I run script script.txt from DOS to make the script.dat, english.dat and Strings.H files I get a few lines of errors basically saying...
"Cannot find US.txt"
"Cannot find French.txt"
"Cannot find Japan.txt"
etc etc with a few other languages as well.
When I go to run Tomb Raider to try out the level, well the level works well enough, but ALL the menus are reduced to single letters, none of which actually appear in the original words. This just a case of me overlooking a step here or anyone else come across this perchance?

It's not because of those messages.

It's because you have added an extra line in the english.txt file. Don't add lines, Only edit/change them.

best.

Ah, many thanks. Suppose I misread the manual instructions on that.
